GamerzUniverse and the rules behind it *PLEASE READ* [UPDATE]

Welcome to GamerzUniverse, a fan forum dedicated to general gaming. While mainly being focused as a Nintendo fan forum, this forum is also welcome to discussions and clans of just about any other type of game by any other company. Aside from gaming, users can also discuss just about anything else that goes on in their lives whether it resolves around school, entertainment, or just life in general.

Please feel free to use this forum to its full potential; however, do understand that we also have a set of rules that each and everyone of us must follow. If they are not followed, expect some warnings and possibly bans to take place. Please take some time to read the rules as listed below:

RULES:

*1. BE RESPECTFUL OF EACH AND EVERY MEMBERS. Please do not encourage verbal fights within the forum nor call others by foul names. Treat others with respect and you will gain respect back by them. If I or any of the other GU staff find any conflicts between members, we will not be afraid to send out warnings or even bans (depending how serious the situation is).

*2. [UPDATE] USE PROPER LANGUAGE AND BEHAVE APPROPRIATELY. SWEARING AT A MINIMUM. Much like the original GamerzUniverse Forums, the members here are expected to keep swearing at a minimum and to behave appropriately during their time on this forum. While we can tolerate occasional swearing for humour because this is an internet forum (especially on the chatbox), we don't want to see any extreme harmful language of any sort. For instance, we should only expect to see one swear word. If not, then you have to deal with those swear words.

Every member in GamerzUniverse forums is mature enough to deal with those swear words for joke purposes; however, if it gets out of hand - we, as the GU staff, will intervene. If there is a problem in regards to swearing, then the GU Staff has the rights to tell the members to cut down the swearing. However, swearing can only be performed to a minimum, and we will send out warnings if excessive swearing/inappropriate or harmful language is seen.

Swearing has their limits, so here are some things that you should NOT swear directly at.

• Insulting/Bashing/Flaming/Harassing another member: This also ties to BEING RESPECTFUL TO EACH AND EVERY MEMBER! Please don't verbally swear at another member unless you're just joking with another. It's not right to them nor yourself.
  
• Excessive swearing: As like spamming with swear words randomly or for no reason.
  
• Bypassing the censor system: If any swear word is blocked by our mighty censored system. Please don't bypass the censor system because it's there for a reason. In the censor system, you will mostly see ***asterisks*** blocking a swear word that we felt shouldn't be seen within the forum. Be warned that warnings will be sent out if the GU staff spots anyone trying to bypass the censoring system multiple times.
  

*3. PLEASE DO NOT SPAM. Spam based topics and posts are rather unwelcome in the forum, and creating them is simply an annoyance to most users. While it may be appropriate in some areas in the forum (such as the Forum Games and the specifically made General Spam sections), spam isn't welcome. Now where is it not allowed? Well...I think it's simple enough to figure out.

Also please note that spamming isn't going to help your GCoin count as we (the admins) will find out whose been spamming or not. If we do figure out a case of spam, we might deduct the amount of GCoins from the spamming user.

*4. [UPDATE] KEEP IT UNDER PG-13. Well this is an interesting rule, but it really relates to keeping the forum friendly to all ages (this ties with Rule 1 and 2). Generally speaking, try to not post inappropriate images (you know what I mean) and other stuff that is above PG-13 (extreme gore, too sexual, or anything that is Rated M or R related, etc). Sure some things may be funny at times; however, let's just keep everything clean and forum friendly for now. If you wish to make a mature topic, please label the title as so and the staff will decide upon its allowance within the forum.

*5. POSTING OF ILLEGAL CONTENT OR MATERIAL IS NOT ALLOWED. Illegal content is generally frowned upon in most forums, and GamerzUniverse is no exception. Please keep our forum free of illegal material, and please note that serious consequences will occur to those responsible if these type of materials are seen within the forum.

*6. NO MINI MODDING. Mini-Modding is basically a member is behaving as though you have the authority of a staff member. We ask that you do not try to correct other's behavior and let the staff take care of that. If you feel that someone is in violation of the rules, please do not state that they are doing so, but rather, let the staff know. Either in the chatbox, or PM to any GU Staff Member.
