March of the Penguins

Anyone see this beautiful documentary based movie? I have and it's very beautiful.
The struggle for survival of the Emperor Penguins is just intense and the parental bond the parents and chicks share is just...AMAZING. Fathers have to starve in order to look after the young chick/egg while the females have to backtrack long distances in order to feed themselves.
It's a great movie and if you like penguins - I highly recommend it! The chicks are absolutely adorable!

Love this doc. One of my favourites. Definitely recommend it as well as some tissues too. I don't like the fact that some of the chicks died, but that's just nature.

Yes, that's very true.
But it is very satisfying to watch the surviving chicks make it to adulthood and become strong penguins! They're beautiful animals!
