A Death In a Family Empty A Death In a Family

Today, after school, my mom told me something important. I kept asking her and asking her what it was until she said that her grandmother, or in my case great-grandmother, has passed away. Right now my mom is talking to my grandmother and I feel so surprised when I heard about it. Right now, my brother isn't here because he has Outdoor Ed so we have no idea what reaction he will have when we tell him tomorrow. For now, it's just very sad to see my great-grandmother pass away when I met her only 9 times. Well, it was a long journey for her, let her wings spread in front of the lord when she gets there.

I'm sorry to hear about your great-grandmother's passing Gira. This must be hard for you, and especially your mother.

However, being able to spend time with your great-grandmother must have been amazing and a great gift overall. Be sure to treasure those moments. RIP

Today, my mom will leave for Paris to meet her relatives and see the funeral next Tuesday. She will be out for 10 days.
