An apology from EM...

Looking at the users that still visit the GamerzUniverse forum, it's quite obvious to see that GU has slowly been reaching its bitter end much like how it once had when the original site closed down. However, I'm making this topic to let you know that I'm still the admin of the forum and I thoroughly apologize about being extremely inactive on the forum for so long. A forum running with no staff members in sight...it's kinda like a car driving without its driver - and without the addition of events and topics, I apologize about the state of GU on behalf of all the staff members. It's been my fault in being unable to take care of this forum as I once had...but I'm really amazed by how loyal you guys are.

TheTrainerExpert, Gira, newsupermariobros, and Chrom thank you so much especially for helping keep this forum alive despite my disappearance since November-December. I really appreciate all the work you guys have done and honestly...you guys have done a better job than myself in keeping this forum alive for this long. There are times when I just come back on this site and feel that guilty pang while seeing you guys staying dedicated to this simple forum. Thank you so much...

It's been a hard time for me tbh - life has really changed for me, and the time I spend on forums has slowly been diminishing since the last year. Studies and soon I will be searching for a part-time job as well. I was also in the hospital for a week in January, so things have just kept me busy in reality. I really apologize about the shape of GU at this point...you guys all joined this forum during its prime time, and watched GU blossom into a rather active forum that bolstered with topics and events. It was a really great time indeed...and it makes me sad to see what GU has become at this point; however, I won't deny that you guys have made this forum a greater success than I would have ever imaged. I really say this thank you to all of you from the my bottom of my heart.

I don't plan to shut down this forum as I will at least keep GU open in some form for those who wish to keep coming back. I realized that our staff circle has greatly diminished over the last two years as well...sometimes we have to accept that reality is indeed harsh. School, jobs, family...there's so many things that could cause inactivity. I'm sure we all understand how some of those pressures feel. However, I'm sure that no one truly meant to abandon the forum as we all have made great friendships with one another. I'm a rather quiet individual in reality; however, I made many friends online than I would have ever imagined. It's been a blast! I enjoyed meeting each and every one of you as the loyal members. I enjoyed working with fantastic staff members like AnimeFreak, Ospreyeagle, MapleBerry<3, and Mr.Snap too! We should all be proud of how far this forum has come...and none of this would have been possible without the help of each and every user who contributed to this forum!

Now you might be thinking that this is some kind of goodbye message; however, it's not. It's something I've been meaning to tell each and every one of you. I wish I had the power I once had to run forums as actively as I once had in the original GU. Of course, back then I had more support on the technical side; however, times do change and even now I'm unable to create those events and topics as I once had. Time really doesn't wait for anyone...however, I assure you all that I will continue to come to GU and do my best to take care of it. This forum will NOT close down and will remain open to those who wish to participate or even keep this forum as a form of memory. If there comes a time when this forum could use a new head admin, I will happily exchange that status as you all have given me the happiness and achievement of keeping GU a success for its first year. I loved this forum and I hope that all of you had a great time, and hopefully continue to have a good time with this forum in the near future.

I will perform several new updates to this forum this week once I get the chance to make it fresh. I will also post whenever I get the chance. I appreciate all that you guys have done and keep up the great work!

We also need people here too. Promotion is probably the best I think...

it's all good, I like going on here and enjoying the users and activities. Believe me, I have had tough times and busy times as well and you can't control it, do what you think is best and I look forward to whatever you have planned for the website.
