New Nintendo 3DS models announced!

Edit @ 12:30: It will be released in Japan on October 11th 2014. The New Nintendo 3DS will be 16,000¥ while the new Nintendo 3DS LL will be 18800¥. International release is not currently known
Wowzers, new 3DS models already! The "New Nintendo 3DS" does interest me...odd name; however, the additional circle pad and the increased RAM sounds awesome!
Hopefully it's released worldwide near the holidays or in the early portion of 2015.
