Mario Kart 8 DLC - shocking and upcoming! (Zelda + Animal Crossing)

The first pack, releasing in November, will include Tanooki Mario, Cat Peach, and Link, four new vehicles, and eight courses. One of those new vehicles will be the Blue Falcon from F-Zero. he second pack, coming in May, includes Villager, Isabelle, and Dry Bowser, plus four vehicles and eight courses. Purchasing both, either as a bundle or separately, will also net you eight differently colored Yoshis and Shy Guys.

These have only been announced for Europe at this time, for 7 pounds each (approximately $12). The addition of non-Mario characters could be for use with the upcoming Amiibo figurines, which Nintendo has stated will work with Mario Kart 8. We've contacted Nintendo for comment.

Wow...this is just beyond shocking! o.o Link is in Mario Kart and so is the Villager! Hype guys!

Practically no one saw this coming though many have wanted "Nintendo Kart" to come true. Just watch Nintendo put Zelda, Kirby and Captain Falcon in the next DLC pack for Mario Kart 8. XD
